		<description>It&#039;s been my experience that it doesn&#039;t hurt your prospects at all! The effect is quite the contrary, it enhances your prospects dramatically if you do it with a little tact. 

Blogs, LinkedIn, etc. What these things do, is help you build equity to some extent. You can leverage that and position yourself for great opportunities down the road.</description>
